Coupon Code Maker

With a little promo in a facebook group Coupon Maker now has 10 customers. 10 Glorious users who are making hundreds and thousands of coupons.

Glad I could help so many people. Users like Mike have been insanely awesome by relating any UI issues and suggesting changes. Early feedback is "useful" and I've also made many of the changes suggested.

Already looking into expanding adding more templates to make a variety of coupon codes.

And had to figure out how to add Sidekiq and background processes. Exciting change because it now speeds up the coupon making. I made 5,000 coupons today in less than a minute.

Pitched the app to a few friends who were also on Gumroad and they needed the solution as well. First customer onboarded and using the app.

In fact it's been 3 customers in 3 days. Excited to see how this enhances as more people use it. Making swift ui changes as people are onboarding.

On October 16th, 2021 I made the folder locally. Now after 3 days of coding I pushed the first commits to Github. Which means I can deploy on Heroku and see if this thing will really work.

Excited because this is the first project I'm fully coding myself. It has user signup/login and stripe integration.

I've been taking ruby on rails courses this year with the goal of "Learn to Code"
This is the culmination of that learning.
