So I added Rich Snippets / Rich Results / Structured Data (or however you want to call them) to The Other WorkSpace's Website.
I linked the landing page, but you can take a look at the source code of the other pages, I added them in quite a few of them (and will soon add them to other pages too).
Based on my understanding these should help with the CTR and the referencing of my website, but I'm not sure what the effect will be.
I added a set of snippets to certain types of pages and I'll be adding another set of different snippets to other pages, based on the content of course.
The purpose is to improve the SEO, that is get the information through to crawlers on what is what, not just randomly post stuff on the pages and hoping for good results.
That I, basically posting:
Will that impact the SEO? Will it change the visibility in search results? Will it affect the CTR and the conversion rate?
There is a ton of this I have no clue on.
I'm also wondering how different is this from SEO optimisation in terms of adding metafields such as description of social profiles? So if you know something, say something, to recycle the Bush administration's slogan.
And well, fingers crossed. Also if you need help with setting it up, or you have a question, feel free to drop me an email!
Cheers,
David
