CrowdHeavy is a remote user testing and usability platform.
I spent the weekend getting my copy together for my homepage.
Bounce rates have been high, so here goes this experiment! Hopefully my new copy will better explain what Crowdheavy is, why you should be using it and how much risk it can mitigate for product people.
Feedback is always appreciated!
Considering my high bounce rate, I'm guessing potential customers want to see a real Crowdheavy tester video... so I got one of my more popular testers' permission to post one of his submissions on the homepage!
It's a bit long, but it's a real test case. Is it too long??
Cold outreach is going fairly well for Crowdheavy, all things considered.
Two weeks in I have
- $0 in sales
- A GANG of remote testers
- Four customers on the Flexible plan
- Three customers that have completed onboarding
- ~53% bounce rate
- Many, many new grey hairs
I wanted a remote user testing platform that was easy to use and payed it's testers via Cash App and NOT PayPal. I couldn't find one so I built one 👨🏽💻.
I built the web app (Ruby on Rails, baby) fairly quickly and tested the platform with friends and family for weeks. A ton of patches later, I soft launched the service and started looking for testers!
