I’ve used both, and for me it’s not really a “which is better” question.
Photon is great when a token is already active.
It’s simple, fast, and has almost no learning curve.
If I just want to check prices or make a quick trade, it does the job.
MoonX feels different.
It’s more of a workspace than a tool.
I mainly use it for earlier discovery, setting rules in advance, and managing trades without staring at charts all day. I access it through an account I already had on BYDFi, but the real benefit is structure, not the exchange.
Over time, I realized most of my memecoin losses didn’t come from bad ideas —
they came from late execution and emotional decisions.
MoonX didn’t make trading safer, but it reduced friction and forced me to be more disciplined.
Now I use both:
MoonX for planning and execution,
Photons for quick checks and staying independent.
A photon is a knife.
MoonX is a workbench.
That difference matters more than features.
