Crossed 250K submissions!

Thanks to the amazing Google Firebase functions, we handle thousands of submissions daily. And after just 5 months of launch, we have got 250,000 submissions from tens of thousands of players all around the world.
Next target is definitely crossing the 500K mark :)

Very nice UI. Did you use a specific UI framework?

    1. 1

Magic of @kushagra :) He handles the UI. And we don't use any UI framework...all from scratch.

That's very impressive. Any chance of getting help from you guys for the UI for http://testerbot.io? ;)

What part of this success do you owe to Firebase functions? How were you trying to do it previously?

    1. 2

We started with Firebase functions itself. They are a large part of the success because we have seen crazy times when a huge number of concurrent submissions have happened and thanks to Firebase functions they were handled beautifully. Most importantly, being serverless we hardly had to manage anything to support such scale.

That sounds interesting. What firebase plan are you using?

        1. 2

"Blaze" plan. Turns out cheaper than "Flame".
