Like creating custom app bundles for AI
Howdy Indie Hackers!
TL;DR: I built a platform that lets you package your AI tools, prompts, and resources into reusable "context packs" that work across any AI platform (that support MCP, so soon [fingers crossed] all of them). No more rebuilding the same setups over and over.
Been toiling away on the product for a month and a bit now and first time trying to see if it is actually helpful for people, or am I just imagining the problems that people will be having. Have had few successful sessions constructing demo packs that have worked well for my use cases but now I'm looking for others who have felt this pain.
I started building this because I've been using Claude and the AI Assistant in my IDE a lot for work, and I kept running into the same annoying problem where I had to setup the same tools and copy-paste files over and copy-paste the prompts from one place to another.
That got me thinking, want my teammate to use the same workflow? They have to figure out the whole setup themselves.
I'm genuinely excited to be tackling this problem space and believe there's a better way to make AI tools more usable with better context management. I'm keen to hear if you've also run into friction when sharing workflows across tools or with team members.
