Quick introduction to Curiosity

Rafael (@theolivenbaum) and I (@leonzucchini) founded Curiosity in 2018. We're a tiny, bootstrapped team based out of Munich, Germany.

Curiosity is a productivity app that gives people one place to search all their folders and apps. It's available for individuals as a desktop app (Mac/Windows) and for teams as an enterprise search system (cloud/on-prem).

We originally built Curiosity as an enterprise-NLP framework. However, over time we realised that search was at the heart of most our enterprise problems so we focused on that. Then people kept saying "I want that for my stuff", so about a year ago we launched the desktop app.

We're currently working on polishing / extending the desktop app and growing the user-base... in parallel to the enterprise engagements that pay the bills. The plan is to use the desktop app for a product-led approach to enterprise.
