Cursos Jazyk

I had a list of beta users and interested people, about 2,000 emails long. I sent an email on September 6th, 2018 announcing that we were taking students and that they could start their course on October 1st.

I still remember what I was doing when I got that first payment notification. September 7th, 8 am.

We launched with 993 users.

I started developing my method and launched a few language courses in a third party platform, so I could test if it was viable. We had great success with it, so then I needed funding to get to where I wanted to get.

I started working on a business plan, which proved hard for me, since I had no experience at all in business. Until I came up with my idea, I had always sworn I would dedicate my life to academic research.

I needed to learn German so I could go on an exchange program. The courses and apps I found online were lackluster, from the perspective of a linguist specialized in language acquisition.

"So what if I design my own learning method?" And so it began!
