Curtain
Matching podcasters with brands that fit their niche.
We dropped a new blog post (https://joincurtain.com/blog/finding-guests) detailing great ways to find podcast guests, why you should have guests on your podcast, and the tools and websites to use! We noticed a lot of podcast hosts and creators in the communities we follow struggle to find guests, so we hope this post helps.
If any podcasters out there have anything they want covered in future blog posts, let us know!
We appreciate the ❤️
We compiled a list of affiliate marketing programs, broken down by category (entertainment, sports, tech, etc.), for podcast creators on our waitlist. When you visit www.joincurtain.com, you submit your email to the signup or the pop-up modal to get access!
We are hoping that this helps give immediate value to our waitlisted users who are looking to monetize their podcasts. To give additional value, we are also going to be releasing more blog content related to podcast creation, growth, and monetization!
Let us know what you think!

We just dropped our first blog post (https://www.joincurtain.com/blog) which covers four common money making strategies that podcasters use. This is an elaboration on the shorter post that we created here on IH (https://www.indiehackers.com/post/podcast-monetization-strategies-7b81a50d0e). Be sure to checkout the blog and let us know what you think!

We are excited to announce that we have a landing page and blog up for Curtain at www.joincurtain.com!
Why are we building Curtain?
1 - The process of cold emailing companies and brands as a podcaster in hopes that one will consider sponsoring your podcast is tedious and inefficient. Your time is best spent doing what you're good at... making content.
2 - Existing marketplaces and networks are restrictive, costly, and ineffective. If you are lucky enough to be large enough to be accepted into a podcast network, the network will likely take up to 30+ % of your revenue.
3 - Dynamic Ad Insertion sucks. If you decide to monetize through your hosting platform, chances are they use Dynamic Ad-Insertion to automatically run ads in predetermined slots in your podcast. Unfortunately, these ads are usually irrelevant to the theme of your podcast and thus have terrible conversion rates. These lackluster click-through rates lead to low CPM rates.
Why use Curtain instead?
Curtain is a P2B (podcast to business) marketplace for podcast creators to find sponsors and affiliate programs that align best with their niche listener audience. We understand that small podcast creators can pair with sponsors that fit their niche and start monetizing earlier than ever before.
Curtain's platform allows you to connect with sponsors and get paid -- all with no minimum listener limits and low transaction fees.

Awesome idea. Best of luck with Curtain 👍
You could consider submitting it to prelaunchers.xyz, which is a prelaunch platform for tools such as this. I would love to list curtain there 🙂
About
Podcasters lack monetization control and freedom. Podcast networks take egregiously high transaction fees to get podcasters unstrategic brand partnerships. Existing marketplaces are too restrictive.
