CutRecipe
Skip the story, get just the recipe.
I kept finding recipes I wanted to try on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, but actually cooking from them was annoying.
Pause. Rewind. Find the ingredients. Rewind again. Try to remember what came next.
So I built CutRecipe.
You paste a recipe video or page, and CutRecipe turns it into a clean recipe with ingredients and step-by-step instructions.
The idea is pretty simple: skip the story, get just the recipe.
It’s still early, and I’m actively improving it, so I’d love to hear what’s missing or what would make it more useful.
About
CutRecipe exists because great recipes are everywhere, but getting to the actual recipe is harder than it should be. It turns recipe videos and pages into clean ingredients and simple steps, so you can just cook.

The “pause, rewind, find the ingredients, rewind again” problem is painfully specific. Turning a recipe video into something you can actually cook from feels like a much better use of the source material.
Feels like CutRecipe could be pulling in a lot more organic traffic than it is right now. Especially this early while you’re still learning which kinds of recipe sources people actually bring to it.
Are people mostly pasting videos or regular recipe pages so far?
The “skip the story, get just the recipe” framing is strong. It captures a very specific frustration with video-based recipe discovery without turning the product into another general recipe app.
