I run a small book-formatting business, and I kept seeing the same thing from job-seeker clients: good people getting zero callbacks. First scan is free, no sign-up. There's also a free Chrome extension that autofills application forms — you always review and submit yourself.
Status: solo, bootstrapped, about a month live, pre-revenue. Currently deep in the SEO and distribution grind — 90+ blog posts, 30 role-specific keyword pages, directory listings — and learning how brutal early traffic really is.

What stood out to me is that you're solving two different problems at once: passing the ATS and persuading the hiring manager.
Those aren't always the same optimization. The strongest applications usually survive the machine without becoming so keyword-heavy that they lose the story a human is actually looking for.
