CVWiser
AI CV tailored to every job you apply
I work a full-time job during the week and code on weekends. CVWiser started from a simple frustration every time I or someone I knew applied for a job, they had to copy the job title, company, description, paste it somewhere, then start writing. Over and over for every application.
Most people give up and send the same generic CV everywhere. Then wonder why they don't get callbacks.
So I built CVWiser.
One career profile powers every application. You capture a job from LinkedIn or any career page with one click using the Chrome extension. You see your match score instantly. Then you generate a tailored CV and cover letter built only from your real experience, aligned to the specific role.
No invented skills. No hallucinated job titles. Just your profile, shaped for that job.
What I've built so far:
AI generation (CV + cover letter) tailored per job
ATS scoring and gap analysis
Consistency checker (CV and cover letter must match before export)
Application tracking dashboard
Chrome extension with one-click job capture
Interview prep (Pro feature)
Current status: Live at cvwiser.com, 3 paying Pro subscribers, Chrome extension approved on the Web Store.
Tech stack: Next.js, Supabase, TypeScript, Stripe, Resend, Vite (extension)
Happy to answer any questions about the build. This community has helped me a lot time to give back.

The "no invented skills" part is what stood out to me.
A lot of AI job tools optimize for writing better applications. CVWiser seems to be optimizing for representing someone's real experience more accurately for a specific role. That's a subtle but important difference. If users believe the AI is helping them present themselves faithfully rather than embellishing their profile, that's a much stronger foundation than competing on who generates the best-looking CV.
