CyberPie
Cybersecurity for Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses
Competitive pitch process. Failed at first pitch but used the feedback to improve my second pitch. Reached out to an entrepreneur whose product was aimed at the same market and built in her advice. Returned to my initial instints about the product and just went for it! Now I have funding to support me while I build CyberPie and access to mentors and resources and other enterpreneurs on the same journey. Validation :)
Lots of versions of the logo but settled on the current version which is bright and almost 'fun'. Determined not to make the brand feel boring or serious. Put it out on Twitter, FB and LinkedIn. 10 sign ups overnight. The goal is to achieve 500 sign ups.

Went through 10 weeks of validation and prepared my application for Phase 2 of the program. Did surveys and a lot of customer discovery throughout the pandemic. The overwhelming response was 'sign me up'. Looking at a price point of €20 and have added a few tools to up the innovation level of the product.
I'd had this idea brewing for a while but thought I needed to get my other business up and running first. When the pandemic hit, my marketing friend just said, what are you waiting for? So I registered the domain. The name CyberPie was one of a few options but my overwhelming motivation was to give small business owners a piece of the cybersecurity pie.
