Daily Tasks Manager

A simple to-do list app to manage your daily tasks

July 3, 2026 I got tired of to-do apps that need 5 taps just to add "buy milk" — so I built one that doesn't

Like a lot of people here, I've cycled through Todoist, TickTick, Notion, Google Tasks... you name it. And every single time, the same thing happened: I'd set it up with grand intentions (projects! tags! recurring reminders! sub-tasks!) and abandon it within two weeks because opening the app felt like work.

What I actually wanted was embarrassingly simple: open the app, see what I need to do today, check it off, feel good, close the app. No categories to configure. No onboarding flow. No "upgrade to Pro to add more than 5 tasks."

So I built Daily Tasks Manager for exactly that.

What it actually does:

  • Add a task in one tap — no forms, no fields, no friction

  • Clean, distraction-free layout that only shows what matters today

  • A real-time progress tracker so you can watch your completion % climb as you check things off (weirdly motivating)

  • Swipe to delete, with a double-confirmation so a stray swipe doesn't wipe your list

  • That's it. That's the whole feature set.

The part I think actually matters:

It's 100% offline. There's no account, no sign-up, no login screen, no cloud sync. Your task list lives only on your phone. Nothing is collected, nothing is shared with anyone — I'm not selling your grocery list or your embarrassing "call the dentist (again)" reminders to an ad network. I built it this way on purpose, because I don't think a to-do list needs to be a data-collection product.

It works well for:

  • Daily to-dos (obviously)

  • Workout/gym checklists

  • Grocery runs

  • Quick work task tracking without opening a whole project management suite

Where it's rough (being upfront):

It's genuinely early — first release, baseline features only. No recurring tasks, no reminders/notifications yet, no widgets. If you need heavy project management, this isn't that app, and I'm not going to pretend it is. I'm iterating based on what people actually ask for, not a huge roadmap I dreamed up in isolation.

If minimalist + private + "just show me today's list" sounds like what you've been wanting, I'd genuinely appreciate you trying it and telling me what's missing:
