DailyArtShare Community Launched on Discord

Over the last month or two, I started a small daily art challenge group on Discord. It is focused around building a daily art sharing practice.

It's growing into a small, but active community, thanks to some hacking around and finding a few interested people on other discords, friends, family, etc. ~20 users have joined so far, and about ~4-5 daily active members.

How it works is simple.

  1. Join the discord and introduce yourself.

  2. Check the topics/challenge ideas and start doing some creative process with some shareable image/video output daily (for at least 30 minutes),

  3. Sharing that art with others in the #daily-art-share channel for "artist points" and level up by "flexing your art muscles".

I've given it the name "DailyArtShare". I was surprised to see that domain was available, so I quickly snatched it up!

I plan to add more tools/features for this community on a web app that is in development. I also might develop a discord bot to handle some of the streak-tracking that I want to do.

More to come!
