Database Sensei

I'm thrilled to announce that my first AI project, Database Sensei, just made its first dollar from subscriptions! 🎉

Database Sensei is a tool that helps with SQL and Eloquent queries, as well as other tasks like query formatting, explaining, and fixing. I built it for my own use at the company I work for, and have been sharing my progress on Twitter through building in public.

Getting new users to try the app was a challenge in the beginning, but once I removed the credit card requirement, I saw a substantial increase in traffic. This morning, I received my first payment notification and it was such a great feeling! 🥳

Now that I know there's people willing to pay for Database Sensei, my next steps for growing the product are to focus on marketing and reaching a wider audience. I believe there's a lot of potential for this tool to help database administrators and developers improve their work. To that end, I'm planning to:

• Improve SEO by writing comparison and use-case pages
• Gather feedback and testimonials by offering free credits to users who leave an honest review.

If you're interested, feel free to give Database Sensei a try. There's no credit card required, and if you leave an honest review, I'll extend your subscription for an extra month as a thank you.

Thanks for reading! 🙏
