Product Listing Monitoring for Amazon Sellers

April 28, 2020 Pivoted and launched a completely new app

I pivoted and defined my "ideal customer". I think I found a real problem instead of searching for it with an already-made solution.
The idea is to provide Amazon sellers with a listing monitoring that tracks listings and notifies users whenever there is a change to their (or to their competition's) listings. We track over 30 data points, including bestsellers rank, subcategories rank, buy box ownership, price, sellers, and offers. Sellers can adjust their alert preferences and decide which emails to receive.

June 6, 2019 Rewriting to serverless

The stack is Django, Celery, Redis deployed to aws ec2. I've decided to rewrite some parts of the web app to aws lambda + sns + sqs to leverage aws services scalability.
