Today I have published my first blog on datanews.io. Previously, I have thought of myself as a dev only. Turns out writing blogs is not as hard as I have thought it to be. I am starting to think that marketing actually matters more than technical implementation. It's time to do SEO and learn a lot on the way.
After launching the product on Hackers News, I have shortly received an email with a customer asking for more info and willing to try the product. We've got on a call shortly and closed the sale the next day.
News searching solution was exactly what they needed, and after some additional consultations and bug fixes (yep, they were willing to subscribe despite some bugs on the website), we got the first customer.
Looking forward to more now!
