Cloud-Based Real Estate Deal Analyzer
Up until now myself and my partner/co-founder have been really letting this operate in the background. We were running some Google ads and had tested YT as well. Aside from that, there was little to no effort on our parts as we were focused on our actual real estate business. We ran Google ads initially, acquired around 5-7 users, and then pivoted to YouTube with that ad spend. I think YouTube will be a good channel down the road but we didn't have the knowledge to implement it and we weren't seeing results, so we switched back to Google search ads.
Over the next month or so we tweaked the campaign and saw a marked increase in users signing up. Up until this point the UI/UX was done by me (a non-product person and non-coder) so it worked and was functional but wasn't as aesthetically-pleasing as it could be. So, we paid someone on Fiverr to send us mock-ups of what our UI should look like and I implemented it.
We also decided to put some more time into this as it seemed like a very viable business. We got to 17 users with very little effort or spend, and for the most part the churn seems very low. We are now trying a few different marketing channels and are overall just more willing to work on this as it is validated in our minds as being a product that solves a problem that people are willing to pay for.
I mentioned that our real estate company was the first paying user, but we are not counting that since it wasn't an outside user. This is the day that we acquired our first user. We did this by running some Google ads. Definitely a long way to go but it is exciting!

After operating a real estate company (primarily focused on flipping houses) for 2+ years and not being able to find a very simple deal analyzer, we decided to build our own. Our company was the first paying customer at $9 per month.
The site was built on Bubble.io and we use Stripe to process payment when someone subscribes. There is only 1 subscription tier and no trial period. However, we offer a full refund if someone cancels and requests it within the first month of subscribing.

Working on DealSimple because there was nothing that existed in the market that we needed for our real estate business. Every other deal analyzer was overly complex with unnecessary features that you paid for.
