DebriefAI
Get the interview feedback you were never given
I've been building DebriefAI for the past two months as a solo CS grad student at UMass Amherst.
The problem: job seekers finish interviews and get nothing back. No feedback, no signal. Companies stay silent for legal reasons and candidates keep making the same mistakes with no way to know it.
DebriefAI fixes that. It's a desktop app that silently runs during your interview and delivers a full AI coaching breakdown the moment it ends — how you came across, where you lost momentum, what to fix before the next one. Under two minutes, no waiting on anyone.
Launched yesterday. 200 visitors, 369 page views in the first week with today being the biggest spike by far.
Stack: Electron, Next.js, AssemblyAI for transcription, DeepSeek for analysis, Clerk, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel.

Happy to answer any questions from other founders on the technical or distribution side.
