Crossed 1,000,000 completed meditations on the app

Just saw a stat today that blew my mind.

As of today, over 1 million verified meditations have been completed on the Deep Meditate app. I'm low key impressed at the scale this has hit from being a side project two summers ago to where it is now.

It's not all so sunshine and rainbows though. Running any startup company is quite painful and takes a toll on you health. It's been very difficult and stressful to get to this point, but incredibly satisfying.

To get here, there has been a lot of trial and error. 2 years ago, making mistakes was a bad thing, now it's a mistake to not make a mistake. In fact, trial and error is the recipe for growth. Make mistakes with ideas, with money, with people because that's the only reliable way to learn the things that nobody is talking or writing about.

That's awesome. But I remember looking at this space - more than 2 years ago - and finding a ton of such apps, including the Gorilla in the market...Calm. What does your app offer that the others don't? I downloaded a few of them back then and they all seemed the same. Your does not seem any different. What made you think its better or different than all the others?
