BetaPage results

So for all interested, here are the results of betapage listing. I didn't invest much in marketing the launch event. Told to a couple of friends and that's all. As you can see there are only 3 upwotes. For the last 14 days website got only 27 visits from betapage and 0 new users.
What I think about it? 1. They have an option for paid listing asking something around $80 for this. Considering this low traffic volume don't think it is worth it. 2. This was obvious even before launch their audience is not my target market. Will be thinking about other ways to get traction. Can you suggest anything?

Hi @mylh. We had much more audience using BetaList for our add-on Mailmeteor.com. Like 100 visits in the first day and an important % of new users. You might consider looking on that one instead. On our side, we will try to be listed on BetaPage to compare with your metrics 😝

Thanks for suggesting. I will give it a try. But I have to admit that my product is not targeted at startup owners/creators whom are the main audience of such platforms I guess.

Hey myth, My experience was entirely different. The truth about BetaPage is their newsletter is way more powerful than their website. I opted for paid feature because they don't mention free startup in their newsletter and I received 412 visitors and 89 signups for my product. Besides If you are expecting traffic I think it is important to reach to trending section of these sites like BetaPage and ProductHunt. Last month I launched a new product on ProductHunt. My product didn't reach to the trending section and I received almost nil traffic from there. No one checks new section, everyone visits trending products only

Yeah, I considered their paid option and was aware about trending section and a newsletter. But ended up not paying since I supposed that their audience is not my target market. Also wanted to understand what could be the results without paying. Now I see :)

I unfortunately paid for their service as well and had similar results. Ive heard good things about https://betalist.com but not tried them yet.

Thanks for sharing. Going to try betalist as you suggest.

How was your experience with betalist?

Thanks for sharing. BTW, I really like the DWM homepage. I think it's a great design + copy and I immediately understand the value prop. My guess is that betapage isn't a good audience.

Thanks for feedback :) I hired a professional web designer to create a design since I don't have any designer capabilities at all - only coding )))

They did a great job. But even more than the design, the copy and value prop is really clear. At least to me.

@mylh maybe you could try: https://owwly.com
I can send you some details about how to promote your product and you can be 100% sure that your product exceeds 27 visits, even in one day ;)

    List of ProductHunt maybe?

Also, I wouldn't pay for a listing IMO

I am still considering this option. I don't know why but something stops me from posting there....maybe better to wait until someone "hunts" my website :)

    here are the results
    Here where?

      1. 1

No. I don't understand where we should look at your betapage listing. Where is the link?

As you can see there are only 3 upwotes.
        Again, where can we see?
You didn't provide any link, nothing.

Ah, sorry. The link was posted in previous post in this blog. I was not aware that there was no context given though I post into product's blog. Here is the link to betapage: https://betapage.co/product/deep-web-monitor :)
