Most people who want to start trading do the same thing: watch a few YouTube videos, open a real account, and lose money within the first month.

Not because they're dumb. Because they never practiced.

I built Demotrade to fix that. It's a paper trading simulator built specifically for beginners - not for people who already know what a stop-loss order is.

You get virtual Tenny currency to trade with. Real Nifty50 and Sensex data. And an AI coaching layer that actually flags when you're making bad calls - overtrading, panic selling, revenge trading. The stuff nobody warns you about until you've already done it with real money.

A few things that shaped how we built it:

- Beginners don't need more charts. They need feedback on their behavior.

- Discipline matters more than strategy at the start.

- Zero risk has to mean zero risk - no hidden upsells, no pressure to go live.

The app tracks your discipline score, streak days, and trade history so you can actually see your patterns over time.

I’ve been learning about trading and decided to build my own stock trading simulator where you can practice with virtual money (no real risk).

The idea is simple:

- Start with ₹1000 virtual balance

- Buy/sell stocks

- Try to grow your portfolio
