Design VS Design

As I am approaching 250 users, a new marketing website is also ready to launch.

After less than a month since its approval, the Figma plugin reached 100 users. It's not much but considering I haven't done any serious marketing, I consider it an achievement worthy of celebration.
I am thrilled to finally validate the need for such a product and its main flows.

I will continue to improve the product, add new features, release new updates and shift my focus toward marketing.

After more time than I care to admit, I quit my day job and focused on this project.

My designer friends are already subscribing and the feedback sounds positive. I am also developing a Figma plugin for quick posting: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1091754336051921901/Design-VS-Design

I quickly bought a nice and memorable domain, hacked a prototype that paired random Dribbble shots, and shared it with my friends. I quickly learned that pairing random designs, although cool in theory, isn’t very engaging (can’t compare a menu design with a logo for example).

The pairing itself is part of the content and the designer should have complete control over it.

Knowing this, I started planning a more convenient tool for designers. I also started to seriously consider quitting my job to pursue my own projects.

Everything started when a fellow designer shared https://cantunsee.space at work. My entire team spent half a day going through it countless times, fun times :)

I was surprised there is no way to use the same format (a/b comparison) for custom designs, so I started considering all of the implications of such a service.
