I'm passionate about enabling creators from all across the world tell their community's stories. So, I'm really excited to be pushing this project forward with a listing on BetaList!

I've wanted to start this travel content platform for a long time but let life happen and time was never right.
But this past month, I've built the website, contracted with writers, and started the business. I'm excited to start publishing awesome stories that inspire others to have incredible travel experiences.
I'm also really excited to meet the many content creators out there who have stories to tell about their local communities or regions.
The website is in pre-launch mode while I organize and edit the initial essays and discover what's working and what's not but I plan on launching for real Sep 14th.

Hey, congrats!
Not sure, though, what your project is about. You wrote "contracted with writers" (or contacted?) - which writers are you talking about? What exactly are you going to publish? And what is the business model?

The goal is to publish essays, photography, and other creative content that's focused on local creator's region or community. It's going to be a platform for under-represented destinations around the world to tell the stories that are outside of, or adjacent to, the big travel destinations.
I've contracted some initial writers to publish content but and looking for creators of all kinds of media to produce content that speaks to their local areas.
The business model is a mix of subscription, ads, and partnerships. I've also got two applications that I'm building to support this model and have been thinking these would be good products to spin off and launch as services in themselves.

Am I missing something, or there is no product yet? Can you launch on beta list a coming soon page? That's strange.
