3 weeks ago I launched DevelopMonster. A lot has happened in the meantime and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the success.

• First major customer:
  Within 1 week, a potential large customer came forward for a very cool project, which also supports a good cause. I have now had 2 conversations with the 3 leaders of the company and they probably want to purchase a one-year subscription. We will discuss further in mid-August and I will see if they take out a subscription.
• Honorable Mention Awwwards.com:
  I was surprised to be nominated by Awwwards.com for best website in the second week. In that week, many people voted on DevelopMonster.co with a high score. I was delighted to receive an "Honorable Mention" award from the folks at Awwwards and to hear if I'm going to be "Site of the Day" in the coming months.
• Twitter as a promotional channel:
  I had never used twitter and had an old account. In the past 3 weeks I was thinking about a channel where I can easily promote my startup, without it taking too much work. In week 3 I started promoting and after a week I was amazed to see that I got more than 100 followers. So it seems to be a good channel for the promotion of my company.
• Applicants for my startup:
  It is strange to see that I also received 2 applicants in week 3. A copywriter and designer want to work for my startup, while I have no work for them.
• 150 visitors per day on the website:
  Through Google Analytics I can see how many visitors come to the website DevelopMonster.co. In the first week this was between 1 and 10, in the second week this suddenly increased to more than 150 visitors per day.

It's bizarre to see how well the startup is doing in such a short time. I am curious what the near future will bring. Of course I will keep you informed!
