DevOps Dojo
Better DevOps Hiring
After agonizing over copy, design and learning Inkscape to draw dinosaurs and ninja stars... I launched DevOps Dojo's website last night. It's a rough start but at least it's out.
Next I have to pivot back to the web app to go along with the backend. If you have any feedback on the website, what's effective and not, that would be super helpful. Thank you!
Using a terminal as a primary interface of a product has it's strange points. For example, I learned way more about 1970's computer terminals than I ever wanted.
In the end rather than dealing with translating escape sequences between OS native terminals I've opted for making both 'ends' of the interview in xterm.js. Wish me luck!

Working on a remote team I found DevOps/SRE interviews to be ineffective. I wanted a new kind of "whiteboard" for technical phone screens and remote interviews. Real scenarios, real networks, for testing real skills.
