DevToo
Privacy: Free developer tools — no login, nothing leaves you
I kept hitting the same wall. I'd need to format some JSON or decode a JWT, google it, and land on a site that was slow, buried in ads, hit me with a cookie wall — and wanted me to paste a production token into a server I had no reason to trust.
So I started building my own, and it grew into DevToo: 67 developer tools in one place — JSON formatter, JWT decoder, regex tester, Base64, timestamp converter, hash generator, and a lot more across data, encoding/security, code, networking, and DevOps.
Two rules I set for myself:
No login, ever. Open a tool, paste, get your output, move on.
It runs in your browser. For most tools, nothing gets uploaded anywhere.
It's live and free: https://devtoo.dev
It works, but barely anyone has found it yet (classic), so I'd love feedback from people who use these tools daily:
Which tool would you reach for first, and is anything obviously missing?
Does "no login, runs locally" actually matter to you, or is that table stakes now?
For anyone who's launched a utility site: what actually moved the needle on getting found?
Happy to answer anything about how it's built.

This is a very crowded space, so the interesting part usually isn’t the tool set itself.
It’s what makes someone default to yours instead of the 10 they already have bookmarked.
Especially for dev utilities, distribution tends to matter as much as functionality.
