dewey. went Paid-only

But no, don’t fret. This isn’t a heist to steal your bookmarks that hold the location of the Declaration of Independence like some Nic Cage romp.

Instead we built a suite of new features and have an overflowing roadmap to make your Twitter bookmarks experience supremely better than anything Elon and team, and frankly anyone else, can provide.

This update included:

✅ Email account backup (no more relying on Twitter login only–way too risky)
✅ Load and save full threads (not just the first tweet)
✅ Full export of bookmark content (not just the link to the tweet with media exports coming soon)
✅ Faster bookmark grabbing
✅ Auto-folders by Tag and by Author
✅ Faster search
✅ Automatically syncing new bookmarks without user input
✅ Turn your bookmarked tweets into beautiful screenshots
✅ Create and post threads using your bookmarks
✅ Keyboard shortcuts (coming soon)

June 7, 2021 Hit 90,000 Bookmarks Ingested

We have been growing our userbase 30% week over week mainly through direct tweet replies to people complaining about the lack of basic Bookmark quality of life features in Twitter. This converts for us at ~35% of all users replied to. As this continues to grow, our ingested bookmarks seems to be growing at an exponential clip.

April 2021 Launched with OnDeck Build Weekend

Being part of OnDeck's Build Weekend gave us a platform to launch to a captive audience. While we didn't win, we grew our waitlist to over 500 users in 2 days.

We also received quite a bit of angel investment interest—mainly curious about what we plan to do beyond the simple extension.

About

Twitter Bookmarks suck. You know this. I know this. Twitter knows this. They are a deep dark void of awesome tweets that I have no way of ever finding again. We built dewey. so you can actually use your bookmarks.
