The DialWave MVP has now been launched. DialWave's AI powered call handling solution is up and running and ready for you to try out.
There are already a number of improvements in the pipeline to continue pushing the service forward, but the MVP should give you an idea of how the technology works and the sort of thing that it will be able to do.

Congratulations on your successful launch! How did you come up with the idea of DialWave's AI powered call handling solution? Were there any particular pain points that you or someone you know experienced that led to the creation of this product?

Thanks! It was largely inspired by my frustration every time I call a company, go through a dozen different menu options, and then spend 20 minutes on hold. It feels like AI is the perfect technology to make that whole process a lot smoother.
I also used to work in a call centre many years ago, so I know that it's impossible to instantly scale that sort of business. Being able to use AI to triage incoming calls would allow you deal much better with surges in demand.

I had the idea for an AI based telephony service at the start of the year while I was playing around with ChatGPT. It feels like when new technology comes along telephony always seems to get left behind, even though so many people still rely on making a phone call and speaking to someone.
I've already built a landing page, but before I spend any more time and energy on this idea I want to make sure it's actually worth pursuing. So I'm now trying to vet the idea in a few place. Here on IH of course, and also on Reddit and RoastOrToast.io

It's about a simple as it gets. I used Figma to put a basic design together and just used HTML and Tailwind CSS to build the page. At the bottom is an embedded form (with some styling tweaks) from MailChimp.
The only goal right now is to get signups to the newsletter. I'm going to aim for 100 signups, at which point the project will start progressing to the next stage - the MVP. Fingers crossed it won't take long to get there 🤞
