Did You Hear That?
It's not what you say, it's what you hear!
Purely through Facebook advertising I was able to recruit just over 100 signups by May 5th. According to Google Analytics 525 unique users had visited the site by then meaning almost 20% of those had converted! I'm yet to test different methods of advertising such as Reddit and Twitter where I foresee as good, if not, better results.
It took 6 weeks, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Did You Hear That?. I worked mostly nights and weekends, and I coded the whole thing in Node.js since that's that I'm the most comfortable with. In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later. But I'm excited to start talking to customers and see what they think about the product so far!

I'm sure like most of you, I was looking for something to focus my time on during the COVID-19 pandemic. I knew firstly I wanted a project to help enhance my software development skills and I knew secondly, there were people out there too who wanted something fun to do. Thus coming together with my friends and partner and brainstorming a web-based game I can create.
