DIY Chrome Extensions
Simple way to Build and Rank a Chrome Extension yourself
Sold 25 copies by the end of the webinar ($69 each) and had messages from four people wanting to show it to their "groups". Sold 8 more in the 24 hours after the webinar to attendees and prepared a presentation for these Groups. Have sold more copies and am considering raising price or making it a subscription.
I noticed that the submission process had changed and I'd need to learn the new methods and then maybe I could still make use of these extensions for SEO and marketing purposes. Arrgh! Frustrating at first so I reached out to get some feedback from a couple of friends who code.
Finally was able to create a piece of software to near-automate the process of creating the base "package" required for Chrome Extensions and after playing around myself for a couple of weeks, reached out to a software developer friend and sought his counsel. Decided to offer the software to others, so built a quick website and then reached out to my contacts and associates in the world of SEO...

Late in 2018 I was looking through Chrome Extensions as a Google product that could help me in marketing. I built a few of them then played around and found that I could rather easily get them on page one searches in Google and Bing. Viola!
Was this replicable and is there a market for this service or product.
I ended up compiling a PDF "How-to" and sold it for some profit ($400+)
I continued using this method on occasion until the Chrome Store changed its submission protocols in 2021.

I've found it simple to rank Chrome Extensions for branding purposes as well as SEO benefits (several anchor texted links from a Google property) and decided to teach others and make it as simple as possible.
