I just launched DocBabel. An AI translator for entire books and large documents.
The problem: I needed to translate a 400-page PDF. Every tool had character limits (5k-10k chars). For a full book? Useless. Copy-pasting into ChatGPT for hours wasn't an option either.
The solution: Upload your PDF, EPUB, or text file. Pick a language. Get the whole thing translated. No character limits, no copy-paste hell.
Tech stack: React + Vite frontend, Express backend, Supabase for DB/storage, multiple AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) for translation quality.
Monetization: Hobby and Pro plans based on monthly translation limits.
