Docbloc
REST API documentation management platform
We've spent the last few months going over user feedback from our beta testing period, as well as done a complete rebrand and added some great new functionality to our app.
Today we are excited to announce our first full launch, which includes a listing on Product Hunt to try and gain some traction.
Docbloc has been live for a few days now, gained a few users that have been very helpful in pointing out some key areas in the app and landing page that could use some attention.
Some of those points are the following and I will be actioning them over the next few days:
- Clearer usage info and examples on landing page.
- Better description of features on landing page
- Better endpoint group management on frontend
- Import export functionality between other api tools.
- More example videos on general app usage
- Auto generating of example json requests.
After a few more rounds of reviews and usability tests Docbloc should be ready and stable for a full release.

After months of hard work we finally have a fully functional MVP.
At the moment user signups are blocked, any users who are interested in using Docbloc should visit the website and fill in the beta user form and a member of the team will get back to you asap with an invite to try out our app.

After a few months of working on a few different API projects, a pattern was starting to emerge. There really isn't a good API documentation platform around.
After doing some research, I found that a lot of systems out there that attempt to solve the issue often focus too much on having loads of different features, but some of their existing features seem incomplete.
So I decided that the solution was to build the perfect REST API documentation tool. Welcome to Docbloc

We are trying to bridge a gap that exists with API documentation tools, currently the only options are hard to manage tools, or tools that don't have a very nice output. We'll fix that.
