Docfyer
a supplier document platform
We finished the first version of the MVP that we really wanted to deliver since the beginning of this project. There are a lot of changes that we will be doing, even without many validations that customers will like what we have so far. I am going a bit against a lot of principles of entrepreneurism, but it is because we really believe that we are doing something nice and we can already approach the marketing and find customers for Docfyer. Let's see what the next months reserve.
We want to already give an idea of what we are doing, basically, the landing page serves for us as the first marketing material that we can have to start approaching possible customers. We will need a website with more details and a CMS behind it, but for now, we can live with a one-page landing page that helps people to understand what we are trying to achieve.

We decided to onboard a new partner and adjust the MVP in a new direction. I know that in the end, we should be trying to reach the market as soon as possible, but in the B2B area, I am really betting that MVPs have to have at least a bit more consistency. That is why we decided to bring an experienced UX designer on board to be driving the product vision.

I deployed the basic portal into AWS and scheduled a meeting with an experienced ex VP of Google. The meeting was great, and it was stated that "this system can be built by anyone in a month". The effort that we have been putting in, brings no innovation to the market. We should be focusing on innovation and creating a Market Place if we want to become big, if we are certain of the size of the company that we want for the future we can enter to compete with already established players, but the software will have to become better.

A long term partner in business came to me with a present problem in the Supply Chain. A real customer that paid to build software that would solve their problem to collect suppliers documentation. I decided to take in the challenge to build a platform that will allow distributing this system for various customers. He did have some code, but I will be rebuilding the whole thing. We will focus on multiple portals and a domain for each customer.

We are trying to innovate into the Supply Chain area, offering new ways for our customers to reach their suppliers asking for documentation. We provide a platform that automates, secures, traces all the steps involved.
