I have listed our product DocPress on Appsumo https://appsumo.com/products/docpressit/. I wanted to introduce DocPress to the AppSumo community in order to get some initial traction and get some feedback from early adopters.

The promo is for our business plan for $49 per year (regularly $49/month) or if 2 codes are bought you get lifetime access to our agency plan that now is at $99/month. If it makes some initial money is a great bonus.

We have some users but I have little feedback and I want to know more about how users use it and if there is more features they need.

I wanted to reward people that want to promote DocPress and the easiest way was to create a simple affiliate program. I am using FirstPromoter https://firstpromoter.com/ to track the sales and affiliates, they have a simple Stripe integration that I really like. I saw that now they integrate with Paddle which is great. I can use that for my other project DropSpace.co.

For DocPress we offer an 80% commission on the first sale with a 60 day cookie period. Affiliates can earn up to $80 from our Agency plan being the most expensive.

Running your own affiliate program might be a bit of work but to enter an affiliate network the costs are high and I can always migrate later if this works well.

We've added a couple of new options to DocPress.it.

1. New link options:

• open all links in a new tab,
• apply 'nofollow' attribute to links

2. Add alt text to images for more SEO friendly articles directly from Google Docs.

These are applied directly from the options panel of the add-on.

We also fixed a couple of bugs, like when starting the add-on and deleting a website.

DocPress.it is a Google Docs add-on that will export to WordPress your Docs content, including images, and it doesn’t require a WP plugin.

It will connect directly and will export your articles in seconds, with clean styles, links and everything. It’s free to use for up to 5 articles per month and than really cheap for higher usage.
