Documentation that stays up-to-date
As a senior software developer, I got frustrated with the current documentation software and how our code documentation always goes out-of-date.
I identified four pain points why this happens:
-
Knowing what documentation exists and what you should update when modifying code is hard. For this problem, I created git integration where you can tag the corresponding documentation with the proper code files, and we will automatically let you know if your documentation needs an update when pushing or committing new code.
-
It is hard to find information from your documentation. For this problem, I created an AI assistant that analyzes your documentation and lets you ask questions like you would ask your coworkers.
-
Developers don't want to leave their IDE to write documentation. My tool lets you write documentation in a way that suits you. Never want to leave Vim? Write documentation in markdown and sync with our cli tool. Want to use the WYSIWYG editor? We got that too.
-
When creating a new documentation page, you need to write a lot of boilerplate before you get to the real important stuff. Our AI generator lets you generate documentation templates straight from code.
