Dolphin AI

World's first user research AI Agent

May 22, 2026 I kept spending more time scheduling interviews than learning from them, so I built an AI that does the whole thing

I needed to interview 20 users across 3 countries. I spent 3 weeks on scheduling. So I built an AI that does the whole thing.

My job requires regular consumer interviews across different regions. I'd spend more time coordinating calendars, writing screeners, and synthesizing notes than actually learning anything useful. The insight-to-effort ratio was terrible.

I tried every research tool I could find. They all had the same problem: they made me faster at doing the work myself. Better transcription, smarter templates, cleaner reports. But I was still the one recruiting, scheduling, moderating, and synthesizing. I didn't need a productivity tool. I needed someone to just handle it.

So I built Dolphin. You describe the decision you're trying to make. Dolphin recruits the right participants (via Prolific or your own list), conducts the interviews with AI, and hands you a report with themes and quotes. The whole thing, not just a piece of it.

A 15-minute study with 10 participants takes a few hours end-to-end, costs around $150, and produces something you can actually act on.

Where it is now

It's live and working. I've been running real studies with it. The AI interviewer asks follow-ups, probes when answers are vague, and knows when to move on. The reports are structured — key themes, supporting quotes, participant breakdown.

It's not perfect. The follow-up probing still misses nuance that a seasoned human moderator would catch. Multi-language support is limited. I'm one person building this.

But for founders and PMs who need directional evidence fast — and whose alternative is either nothing or a Google Form — it works.

Who I'm looking for

If you're at the stage where you're making product or market decisions and you're either skipping customer research entirely (too slow, too expensive) or doing it in a way that feels like more work than it's worth — I'd love to get you in.

I'll run your first study free in exchange for 30 minutes of feedback.

Also genuinely curious: how do you currently handle customer discovery? Especially at early stage when you have no research team and no time.

About

My job requires regular consumer interviews across different regions. Every tool I tried still left the real work to me — planning, scheduling, interviewing, synthesizing. I built this agent that handles it.
