Useless software is winning.

Another AI SaaS. Another agent. Another dashboard. Another pricing page with three tiers and the word "workflow" doing most of the work.

The next one was going to be mine.

So I made Don't Let Me Code: a very serious anti-product where $5 buys 15 min of restraint. While the clock is paid for, nothing ships. No wrapper. No "built in a weekend" launch thread. No suspiciously polished demo video for a tool nobody requested.

If the clock runs out, I go back to building things like ShelfPrice: a competitor-pricing tracker that watches pricing pages and tells you what changed. It would probably work. That is the problem.

One payment buys one 15 min.

Nights are not for sale.

Nothing ships while the clock is paid for.

The $5 test is more interesting than the anti-product itself.

Curious whether you’re using actual purchases as the threshold for deciding whether an idea earns build time, rather than treating clicks or compliments as validation.

To stop myself from shipping yet another AI SaaS nobody asked for. Every $5 buys one quiet hour where nothing gets built.
