So, I'm not really sure when we first hit 100 registered users because I did an automatic clean up for users who were inactive for 90 days 2 months ago and that eliminated 1/4th of the user base.
However, we do have analytics that keep track on the amount of users that signs up per day. So, looking back at it took us a full 4 months to reach this milestone since we've first launched publicly on April 30, 2021.
We've launched Dope.Link on ProductHunt and got featured on the homepage being a top 5 product! We've accumulated over 250 upvotes that led to several purchases on AppSumo.
Sadly, we were bumped out of the top 5, but still were featured on the homepage for the entirety of the day.
I needed a quick way to get a user base, traction and capital. I was already familiar with AppSumo - A LTD (Lifetime Deal) marketplace for entrepreneurs.
So, I decided to list my product on there for a very low price to get some buyers and get some reviews to increase my brands visibility.
Our first day going live on AppSumo, and we've received not only our first paying customer but also our first review and a quality one at best.
Granted it's not MRR/ARR I still view it as a legitimate purchase that validated not only our brand but our platform.

The bio page software was already built. All I needed was a name. I've spent several hours trying to find a short, clean name that fit well with the product.
There weren't many names that I initially liked but at my last attempt I typed the word 'dope' to see what was available and to my surprise 'dope.link' was available. I thought it was a glitch or a bug, so I quickly added it to my cart and purchased it.
Suffice to say I'm now the proud owner haha
