$8743 in Sales after PH Launch

We have launched Dorik.com on Product Hunt last Monday. We have finished the day in 2nd place. So far the response has been amazing.

Here are some stats:
🌐 5K Visitors (~3.1K from PH)
✅ 319 Registered Users
💵 $8743 in Sales (75 LTD, 9 Subscriptions)

I will share a more detailed post here on IH about how we have started Dorik and how everything we have done so far. :-)

Note: Not all sales came from PH. But we have got exposure from PH. :-)

    Congrats!

It's interesting that most of sales came from LTD. Now I think that before PH launch I should make LTD. Could you tell please, how did you define LTD's price value?

    1. 2

      Hi Victor,

      Thank you!

It depends on what is your goal with the LTD. Our goal was rewarding our beta users and getting more early users who will build real websites (More real use cases = More issues/feedback = An Improved product for the future).

We were offering a 50% lifetime discount already for our beta users (When we introduced LTD). So our early users would pay $18/year for Starter Plan or $30/year for Premium Plan. So we designed an LTD plan which is a mix of both plans (but closer to Starter Plan). Pricing started at $49 for the first 100 spots (Almost ~2 years of LTV upfront). We have increased the pricing after 100 spots and last spots were selling at $149 (Almost ~6 years of LTV upfront if we compare to our early 50% discounted price).

We have also made a rough calculation of how much resources users will use if all the LTD users use their plans in full capacity and every single website become very popular (Highly unlikely).

Feel free to contact me if you need any other information. :-)
