Launch and then.. crickets
by Jorma de RondeThis post is going to be short and sweet: so after working on dot.bs for almost 2 years (admittely only during nights and weekends), I finally felt it was working well enough to share.
I created a 'show IH' post, which got exactly 0 likes, 0 comments, and probably 0 views as well. This might sound bitter, but in fact I think I should just see this as the starting point.
Time to find some people who might benefit from using dot.bs!

Whats your plan for monetization? Are you partnering with registrars? I'm working on an aggregator in a different niche.

Yes, partnering is one option indeed. I could also think about promoting related products. F.ex. a domain name will most likely be coupled to a website -> hosting/website builder/etc
At the moment just focusing on getting a solid user base, but I'm pretty confident I would be able to monetize once that's there :)
