Is a business even a business without a blog? Good thing we took care of that conundrum.
The first article is shipped. It talks about the importance of automating your personal finances. Too many people don't do that and let their poor financial behaviors get the best of them.
Created a small mini tool to drive organic traffic to the site. Along with the calculator, I decided to spice things up and shift the messaging on the home page to test how well it would do.
Beyond that, I created an MVP of our service and ran a few potential customers through the flow to see how well it would go.
I took to Reddit to drive initial traffic to our landing page at trydough.com. A few creative posts created enough inbound traffic to convert more than 10 users. The next step will be to test conversion rates via some paid channels.
The initial feedback is positive. I've learned a lot from personally talking with initial users.

I personally use Betterment, and have been looking for other options. I can't say I make the 75k minimum but would be interested in migrating accounts after learning more. I teach Into to Investing in High School and do my best to explain what robo-advisors are and why more young people are using them today. I try to identify some of the advantages and disadvantages of using robo-advisors, and have students conduct research on some of the most popular robo-advising and investing apps that people use..I might have to start including Dough!

@JYaeger what has caused you to look for other options besides Betterment? Anything in particular that you've been searching for? I'd be happy to give you more details around what we're working on.

As much as I went to robo-advising in-order to fight fees, and greedy advisors, I miss the personal touch of NOT being a number, and having a little more discussion about my finances, future, etc. Why I don't move my account is that Betterment does have great integration with third-party apps for Taxes, linking accounts, etc.

Where is your landing page?
We are testing out the language we use to describe our service and talking with customers to understand how they will gain the most value from Dough.
Getting a landing page out the door was the first step because now we can start broadcasting that we're around.
