There's this great video by Harvard Innovation Labs given by Michael Skok (founding partner of Underscore VC).
It's quite long and detailed, but it's worth a watch.
It goes through the process of creating a Value Prop that people actually care about.
There's one slide where he covers his Value Prop template:
For (target customer segment)
Dissatisfied with (existing solution)
Due to (key unmet needs)
(Venture name) offers (product category)
That provides (key benefits of your solution)
I use this template for every idea including Draw.htch.app.
Here's my first draft:
For: Creatives who work with 3D
Dissatisfied with: Sketching feedback on Zoom
Due to Limitations of today's whiteboards
HTCH offers: Realtime, Sharable, sketches over 3D
That provides More natural pen/paper feel
Sharing this value prop here so we can track how it changes over time.
