The subreddit is based around sharing awesome, usually minimal and single-purpose websites and webtools. My post blew up and had 640k impressions, 2.5k upvotes, and most importantly lots of comments.
This translated to lots of valuable feedback and critic, other aggregator type of sites and newsletters were able to find my tool, probably helped significantly with the SEO, and driven around 25k unique visitors to my site.
