E2C Store
Launch your online store for free in less than 60 seconds
I’m Parth, a 4th-year engineering student. For the past 4 years, I’ve been building E2C Store (https://www.e2c.store) on the side to solve a problem that frustrated me: validating a business idea shouldn't cost a monthly subscription.
The Problem: If you want to launch an online store today, you generally have two options:
Shopify: Great, but you pay ~$40/mo before you make a single sale.
Marketplaces (Etsy/Amazon): Free to start, but you compete on a crowded page, pay high listing fees, and don't own your customer data or branding.
The Solution I built E2C to bridge this gap. It gives you a fully-functioning, standalone e-commerce website for free.
No monthly fees: You only pay when you make a sale.
Your own brand: You get your own link (
e2c.store/your-name) and a customizable storefront.Full tooling: Inventory management, order tracking, and global payments are built in.
The Tech Stack: I used a pretty old by powerful tech stack.
Backend: PHP & MySQL
Frontend: JavaScript & Bootstrap
Payments: Integrated Stripe & PayPal APIs
The Business Model: We are 100% free to build and launch. We monetize via a small 1.99% service fee per transaction. If you don't sell, we don't make money—so our incentives are aligned with yours. We just launched publicly and were incorporated in Canada and India.
I’d love for you to comment on my landing page or launch a free store. Is the value prop clear? What features would you consider "must-haves" before moving your side-hustle here?
Thanks for checking it out!
