Early Learning App for Kids

"Early Learning App for Kids" is a simple android app for pre-school kids to learn ABC, numbers, fruit names, animal names, colors & rhymes.

While there are many learning apps for kids, these apps were fairly complex for kids to navigate through. With careful research and feedback, I have designed my app to make it really simple for kids to navigate. The app works offline.

2 months since launch, I am proud to share below results :

• 50k app downloads
• 4.8k daily active users
• Top Installed Country - India
• Ranked #64 on "Top Free" apps in "Education" category in India on Play Store

All the installs till date are organic and I have never spent a penny on paid ads. Lot of users of the apps are sharing the app with other people and that is helping my app get more and more users.

There is still a lot of room for improvement. The LTV of the app is not very high as the learning content is limited. I am planning to add some puzzles and engaging features such as musical instruments, etc. on the app.

Our app is now 'Trending #8' on Play Store in 'Educations' category. Majority of our users are from South Asian countries such as India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh & Bhutan.

Currently, we're at about 4k daily active users and average app engagement per user per day is 9 minutes.

At the moment, the biggest challenge for me is dealing with some wrongly added 1 star, 2 star, 3 star ratings. There are app users who write a review such as 'good', 'nice app', but provide low star rating. As a result, my overall star rating has suffered despite doing everything right.

I am not sure how to deal with it. If you're reading this on your android smartphone, please take a moment to provide a good rating on my app, it will somewhat help me regain a better rating.

"Early Learning App for Kids" now has 35k app downloads on the play store. All the downloads have been organic. We continue to focus on user feedback to improve the app. Average per user engagement is 9 minutes per day. The app is free to use and does not have ads.

After about 3 weeks of hard work and late nights of work, "Early Learning App for Kids" has been launched on the play store. The focus of the app is to improve learning for kids. The does not have ads which means there is no revenue source ahead for me. But, what will make me really happy is if users love the app.
