Easy Tweet Shirt
Twitter bot to make tweets into shirts
I utilized the printful api to generate a mockup of the tweet screenshot.
I spent about 2 hours just trying to get a successful response from the api, until I realized I was missing one required field.
I finally got it working, but the image doesn't look great. It looks stretched out.
But it works!
I came up with the idea of Easy Tweet Shirt a while ago as something that I could do for fun that would let anybody create a tshirt out of any tweet by replying on twitter.
When I first thought of the idea, it was very ambitious and would have required me to put in a lot of work and effort, so I never jumped on the idea.
After using the integromat/make.com nocode platform to automate my main business, and my other most recent project (cryptopillage.com), I started to think about how difficult it would be to make this project happen without code.
I figured because I already had familiarity with the Shopify platform and integromat, and all I would be doing would essentially be connected twitter api to shopify and printful api, it wouldn't be that challenging.
Because my last project ended up eating into my primary work time, which was a problem, I decided to limit the building of this project on nights and weekends. Mainly Weekends.
So most weeks for the past few months, I've been logging in and working for about an hour or two on this project.
