Hi Indie Hackers! I’m Catherine, founder of EasyBookSTR.
I built this app to help short-term rental hosts and property managers take back control of their bookings. Too many hosts rely on OTAs or expensive, complicated PMS tools that are overkill for small portfolios. EasyBookSTR gives hosts a clean, intuitive way to accept direct bookings, sync calendars, and manage multiple listings — either through an embeddable widget on their website or standalone pages for each property.
With live availability, two-way calendar sync, and secure Stripe payments, hosts can increase occupancy, reduce OTA dependency, and simplify their workflow. The app works on iOS, Android, and any browser, making it easy to manage properties anywhere.

Congrats on the launch, Catherine! The "too expensive or too complicated" PMS problem is real — we kept running into it too when working with small hosts.
We're building something on the reservation management side (Small PMS, free beta), and our starting point was almost identical: a client with 3 apartments who couldn't find anything that fit, ended up on Google Sheets and copy-pasted emails, and it broke down when he added a 4th property. So he asked us to build something simple.
Your direct booking angle is different but complementary — we handle the internal tracking side, you handle getting guests to book direct. Would love to compare notes sometime.
