EasyMenus
Digital QR menus that eliminate restaurant printing costs
After interviewing 50+ restaurant owners across 10 countries, I kept hearing the same pain: "I need to change one price - now I have to reprint 50 menus for $800."
So I built EasyMenus - photograph your menu, get a QR code, update prices from your phone forever. 3-minute setup.
The pivot moment: Initially thought restaurants wanted daily menu updates. Wrong. They want EVENT menus (quiz nights, wine tastings) but can't justify printing costs. That's £12K-20K in lost revenue annually for UK pubs.
Current stage:
- Bootstrap-funded
- 866 verified prospects across 10 markets
- $12.50/month pricing (ROI in first week)
- Validating PMF before scaling
Looking for feedback on positioning: Should I emphasize "eliminate printing costs" or "generate event revenue"?
Also: Anyone have restaurant owner connections? Would love intros.

I'd lead with printing cost first, thats the pain they feel before they buy. I ran into the same thing on QR and menu ideas, static PDFs or Bitly links can get a code out fast, but I'm building ScanLoop around the follow-up question too, which table card or event poster actually got scans after the menu changed. Event revenue is the proof, printing cost is the hook imo.
Hi this is really great thinking. I think eliminate printing cost is a pain right at the heart.
